Selling property is not that hard. I’ve been buying and selling property for over 20 years and recognise that there should be an alternative to having to pay the high end real estate agency fees that have been the norm for some time.
When you decide to sell your home, you want to get the best possible price, quickly and with as little stress as possible.
As I work from home and don’t do property leasing, I have eliminated the need for an expensive office and staff.
I only take on 3 property sales listing a month, so my focus is purely on sales and selling your property at the best possible price and offering to do that at a cost that will save you thousands of dollars.
Most people don’t think of the agency fee cost until they get the account at the completion of sale and then often think ‘gee whiz’ that’s a lot of money for what they did.
I therefore launched Point 9, which is my agency fee cost to you for any property valued at over $800K, which is most of them.
You get a top-notch service from a professional with over 30 years sales and marketing experience.
Getting a valuation is easy and free. A good valuation is about using the best data available including recent sales comparisons together with a bit of common sense.
These days most people have a general idea what their property is worth and are just looking for a confirmation price range from an experienced outside source.
You can now get a free property report yourself using ANZ or Domain's free property report. I wouldn't currently recommend the former as they appear to be more interested in collecting your data and it isn't instant.
Domain's property valuation is instant and while not always absolutely accurate (algorithm software can only do so much) it does offer you an instant ballpark valuation range which is pretty good.
Most agents use RP Data as do I, then you need to add personal expertise about the features and benefits of your particular property combined with the current market sentiment and most recent comparable sales.
At the end of the day the market will tell you what your home is currently worth. Basically the value of your home is ultimately what some one will pay for it.

Savings based on an estimated traditional real estate agent charge of 2% plus gst of the overall property price and our fee of .9% plus gst.
